MARIE OF THE INCARNATION (1599-1672)

Devil's Advocate. Though she may have been a woman of sanctity, God obviously has not chosen to work miracles through her.

Nomination. Her cause was introduced in 1893.

Present Stage. She was declared "Venerable" by Pope Pius X on July 19, 1911.
