PLACE: Macedonia

OPPONENTS: Greece v. Bulgaria

PROVOCATION: Greek soldier's dog ran across border into Bulgaria. Soldier chased after his dog. Bulgarian sentry killed Greek soldier. Greek troops invaded Bulgaria, killed, wounded 48 Bulgarians. Conflict escalated.

RESULT: Emergency session of League of Nations arbitrated. Peace agreed upon. Bulgaria paid indemnity of 30 million levas.
