BILLY DEAN ANDERSON. Crime: In January, 1974, a grand jury in Fentress Country, Tenn., indicted Anderson for assault with intent to commit murder, attempted burglary, use of a deadly weapon in commission of a felony, and being a habitual criminal. Conclusion: Anderson escaped from the maximum security section of the Morgan County, Tenn., jail on August 6, 1974. Authorities are still searching for Anderson, whose criminal career spans almost 20 years.
