Conclusion: Corbett led agents on a transcontinental chase that began in California, included Atlantic City, and ended in Vancouver, B.C. Corbett was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.

STANLEY WILLIAM FITZGERALD. Crime: Shooting a "boozing buddy" in Truckee, Calif. Conclusion: His well-publicized weakness for singing sentimental Irish lullabies led to his capture. After a lusty presentation in a Colorado bar, he was quickly traced to Portland where he was apprehended.
