Fee for active members is "a pound of flesh," and associate members pay $25 per year. Sponsors annual W. C. Fields Day, Philadelphia-New York Hoagie Competition, and Celebration of the Troop Withdrawal from Old Fort Mifflin in 1777. Holds periodic Revolutionary War reenactments at Old Fort Mifflin, complete with musket and cannon fire. Publishes a variety of booklets and pamphlets. 100 members.

. . . Founded in 1907 "to keep alive the importance of our Declaration of Independence and promote the ideals our signers fought and many actually gave their lives for." To join, applicants must show documented proof of lineal descendancy. Holds annual meeting at Independence Hall. A $5 enrollment fee is required, $8 annual dues for adults, $2 for junior members. Publishes The Signer's Bulletin. 850 members, 4 chapters.

. . . Founded in 1966 "to band together owners of original and authentic castles in order to interchange thoughts on mutual problems." No membership dues but applicants must "own authentic castle--one which was originally built as a fortification and must have much of the defensive architecture still in existence." Issues membership certificates and cards.

Founded in 1954 "for the due promotion and encouragement of the study and practice of the art and science of spiritual healing--all forms of healing of the sick in body, mind, or spirit, by means of the laying on of hands, or by either prayer or meditation, whether or not in the actual presence of the patient." Has affiliated associations throughout Britain and in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and South Africa. Full membership is open to healers who can "furnish proof of their bona fides and satisfy the membership committee of their integrity and suitability as federation members."
