FATHER ISAAC THOMAS HECKER (1819-1888). Writer, publisher, and founder of the Paulists.
MOTHER MARIA MADDELENA BENTIVOGLIO (1824-1905). Foundress of the U.S. Branch of the Poor Clares.
MOTHER ALPHONSA LATHROP (1851-1926). Founder of the Servants of Relief for Incurable Cancer.
FATHER THOMAS AUGUSTINE JUDGE (1868-1933). Founder of the Trinitarians.
FATHER EDWARD FLANAGAN (1886-1948). Founder of Boys' Town, Nebr., and a great believer in the saying that "there's no such thing as a bad boy."
SISTER MIRIAM THERESA DEMJANOVICH (1901-1927). Member of the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth. The diocesan investigation has been completed, and the information has been forwarded to Rome.
