Predictor: JOHN REEVES
A former schoolteacher, John Reeves has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English Literature and did some graduate work in English and Library Science at Columbia University. He calls himself a "semiprofessional" psychic.
Past Predictions: Wrong--In 1970, he predicted that there would soon be detention camps for rioters. Reeves was wrong.
Right--On August 8, 1964, he predicted that Eastern Airlines would, in a short time, merge with another airline. There was such a merger with Mackey Airlines. Reeves was right.
--On August 16, 1964, he predicted that President Johnson would not complete his term or would choose not to run again. He also foresaw Johnson's heart disease. Reeves was right.
--In November, 1964, he saw De Gaulle "stepping down." De Gaulle did so, in 1969. Reeves was right.
--In 1970, he predicted that the Vietnam War would drag on. It did. Reeves was right.
--Also in 1970, he predicted that trade relations between China and the U.S. would be established within 16 months. In February of 1972, Nixon visited China; trade relations were established shortly thereafter. Reeves was right.
--In 1970, he predicted that Nixon would be reelected in 1972. Reeves was right.
Future Predictions: For 1975-1980
--Russia and the U.S. will remain as leading world powers.
--A breakthrough in developing a cure for cancer will occur in 1977-1978. However, there will be no actual cure available until sometime between 1986 and 1991.
--By 1980, the area between Baja California and California will separate, making Baja an island. Five or 6 new islands will rise in the Caribbean.
For 1981-1990--A cure for cancer will be discovered.
For 1991-2000--By 2000, the racial problem will be resolved through intermarriage.
