Famous Last Will and Testament Actor Rudolph Valentino
About the last will and testament of famous Italian-American actor Rudolph Valentino.
WHERE THERE'S A WILL
RUDOLPH VALENTINO, Italian-American actor, died 1926
Last Will: The 1925 document cut off the sole heir designated in an earlier will--actress and ex-wife Natacha Rambova--with $1. Equal thirds of an estimated $1 million estate were left to his brother and sister and to Teresa Werner, aunt of the slighted Natacha. His choice of his business manager, George Ullman, as the sole executor aroused bitter contention later. Valentino also provided that anyone who successfully challenged the will be awarded $1. Despite this attempt to circumvent legal hassles, relatives and old flames battled each other, and years of litigation finally left few--except the lawyers--rich.
